Amended Collection of Dues Resolution – 10/15/13
Amending the Resolution date January 26, 2009 Establishing Rules, Policies and Regulations for Collection of Dues, Penalties and Money from Unit Owners. This resolution was passed last month but Gary presented the official document for agreement by the Board. The Amending Resolution adds a $50 fine to late HOA Dues payments whether they are paid in cash, check or through automated deduction of a unit owner’s account. The owner will be notified of the charge by the HOA bookkeeper and the charge will be added to the owners HOA dues account. The reason for this has been multiple bounced checks and insufficient funds on accounts that the dues are drawn from creating extra work for the HOA bookkeeper. This resolution becomes effective on November 1, 2013.
