Ice Storm Update from our Property Manager

Picture

Just a quick note on the ice removal progress from this past weekend’s ice storm.  Hart’s Lawncare has been working continuously on snow and ice removal since Saturday.  All driveways and sidewalks were cleared as of Saturday night, prior to the freezing rain later that night.   All day Sunday was again spent clearing driveways; Hart’s was in our community until 2am Monday morning.  Hart’s has been chopping away at the ice since Monday.  With the amount of freezing rain and snow that accumulated Sunday night, the greatest since 1998, the ice removal process has been slower than we hoped.  The length of time is not a product of Hart’s lack of dedication or hard work.  Hart’s has had to hand chop each sidewalk, which is quite a process with 326 sidewalks.  To this point, all sidewalks in Phase 3 have been cleared and the majority of Phase 2 have been cleared.  If you see Paul or his crew out chopping ice, please stop and say thank you.  Your patience and understanding through the ice removal is greatly appreciated.

Thanks-
