Resolutions of the LCV Board at the 8/19/2014 meeting.

• Resolution to approve concrete repair parts of sidewalks on Kansas for $38,254.83. Gilberts will also be doing some other caulking repair on other units. Gary has prepared the contract the contract and talked with the Maurice and has divided the payments into 3 payments for the work with the last one being paid at the completion of the job. H. Ward made a motion to accept the quote and the contract being prepared by Gary and J. Roberts seconded. The motion was passed by all.

• Resolution to approve snow removal contract for 2014~2015.  Hart’s bid is for $129,600 the same as last year with the exception that the board would pay extra for sand/salt after a severe ice storm. Last year’s ice storm required Hart’s crew to come back many times over several days and apply more sand/salt than would usually be required after a snow storm. Also any lighting along the sidewalk should be removed by the homeowner since Hart’s crew cannot see the fixtures if they are buried in the snow and they are accidentally hit or damaged them. M. Carlo made the motion to accept the contract and H. Ward seconded. The motion was passed by all.
