Resolutions of the LCV Board at the 10/20/2015 meeting.

• Resolution on request from the homeowner of 82 Maryland to have 3 small birch trees removed from the common area.  The landscape committee recommended that only 1 tree needs to be removed and the board approved their recommendation last month. P. Hayden made a motion to deny removal of all 3 birch trees, to stand by last month’s decision to remove only one. S. Phillips seconded. The motion was approved by all. 

• Resolution on request by the homeowner of 33 Maryland to plant 3 peony plants around the outside of his home. Adam stated that the homeowner had already planted them close to the sidewalk and the side of the building. The board requested that they put a retainer around the peony plants. T. Maglienti made a motion that they approve the planting, to put a retainer around the plants so that they do not interfere with the landscaper and to hold off on the violation fine until the board can discuss it further. G. Eagan seconded. The motion passed 5-O with 1 abstention.

• Resolution on request by the homeowner of 25 Maine Road to have a pine tree removed near 26 Maine Road. The landscape committee determined that the tree was diseased. H. Ward made a motion to remove the tree and S. Phillips seconded and asked that we accept Hart’s quote of $500 to remove the tree. The motion was passed 5-1.
