Resolutions of the LCV Board at the 11/17/2015 meeting.

• Resolution for Work Request 575 from the homeowner of 43 Maine to have a spruce tree removed that is dripping pitch onto her car in her numbered parking space. The Landscape Committee was not in favor of this request. Discussion continued as to whether the homeowner’s husband would cut down the tree. It was decided that a certified contractor should take the tree down. P. Hayden made a motion to have Hart’s Landscaping remove the tree for $350 and G. Eagan seconded. The motion passed 4-3.
• Resolution for 43 Maine.  Homeowner at 43 Maine is agreeable to plant a tree in a different area of the pine tree that was approved to remove. H. Ward made a motion to accept her planting a new tree in the spring and S. Phillips seconded. The motion was passed by all. In the spring she is to contact Adam to find out where the new tree can be planted. B. Turek made a motion to have the homeowner’s husband take the tree down free of charge if he is insured to do so. An amendment was made to the motion to have the HOA pay $100 for a new tree by T. Maglienti and on condition to replace the previous motion contingent on the homeowner’s husband producing the proper insurance liability and certificate to cut down trees. T. Maglienti seconded this motion. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0.
• Resolution for Work Request from the homeowner of 33 Maryland regarding a letter to allow the planting of 3 peonies in the common area to the side of her sidewalk which she already planted them. There was discussion on this request. H. Ward made a motion NOT to fine the new homeowner and T. Maglienti seconded. The motion passed by a vote of 5-1.
• Resolution for request by the homeowner of 82 Maryland to have the 3 birch trees removed from the side and back of her house. She stated that she would take the trees down at her expense. She would hire B. Turek to do the work. B. Turek made a motion to accept her request and S. Phillips amended the motion as long as B. Turek is an insured contractor to perform such work. T. Maglienti seconded the motion. The motion was passed by all.
• Resolution for request by the homeowner of 152 Maryland to have some bushes removed from the side of her home. H. Ward made a motion to have the bushes removed by Hart’s for $100 and S. Phillips seconded. The motion was passed by all.
