I am sure you have seen the new mailbox kiosks by now. All four new kiosks have been installed and are ready for the Post Office to transfer their mailboxes in. As you have seen, we ended up with a double installation at the location near 27 Maryland. This was because we could not obtain permission from the City for any other location for the fourth unit that made sense.

As of this writing, we are not sure which mailboxes will end up in which kiosk. That decision is up to the Post Office. But when all is said and done, the old units will be retired and our much improved new units will be in service.

There are still a few details to work out, such as lighting and bulletin boards, so stay tuned and we will update you as soon as the final decisions are made.
